The Black Gold Expedition

This is a rare invitation—an intimate, high-adrenaline truffle adventure distilled into a single, unforgettable day. Our Black Gold Expedition lifts off from Auckland by private helicopter, bound for a clandestine Bay of Plenty truffière. You’ll meet the growers and hunt for elusive Périgord truffles, unearthing nature’s finest rare black gems. Then, your prized harvest is flown back to The French Café in Auckland, where Sid Sahrawat crafts a bespoke four-course lunch centred entirely around your truffles.
